Kingdom Seed International lets you give to a mission and then keep up with it. Each charity is verified and each campaign is reviewed by a person before it can take a gift. Your gift counts toward the campaign's goal, and you can follow the work live, on replay and in updates from the field.

Our story

It started with a trip to Kenya.

In the hills of Kilgoris, Kenya, a man named Chacha uses his phone to take photos of people like Emmanuel, a young boy smiling as he holds his first donated blankets. Thousands of miles away in Texas, Shawn still remembers the day he met Emmanuel on a visit to Kenya. That trip became a calling.

Kingdom Seed International grew out of that calling. It connects givers with the people doing the work, even on another continent, and it is built to treat everyone in its photos and stories with respect.

In practice, that means every charity on KSI is verified by a person, and every new campaign goes to a person for review. Campaign pages show what has been raised against the goal, and signed-in donors are told when a campaign they gave to passes 25, 50, 75 and 100 percent. Photos in posts and stories are scanned automatically, posts, streams and campaigns can all be reported, and anyone can give without their name being shown.

Why KSI is different

How KSI is different.

Most giving sites go quiet once you have paid. On KSI you can follow the organisations you give to and see their posts, stories and live broadcasts.

  • You see the numbers before and after you give.

    Campaign pages show what has been raised against the goal and mark each milestone at 25, 50, 75 and 100 percent. The fee is shown before you give: Stripe's 2.9% + 30¢, and KSI keeps nothing. Signed-in donors keep every gift, with its receipt, in one history.

  • Our team decides who can raise money.

    Someone on our team approves each charity by hand. An admin reviews each campaign before it can take a gift, and every payout needs an admin's approval.

  • Stories from the people doing the work.

    Missionaries and field workers post, share stories and go live themselves. AI screens what they publish as it goes up, and nothing that sexualizes a child or traffics a person is allowed.

  • Dashboards and AI screening for every campaign.

    AI reads each campaign's title and story for invented causes and scams when it is written and again whenever it is edited. Verified charities see what they raised in the last 30 days, their donors, their average gift and a day-by-day chart, and can export their donor list as a CSV. Live streams are checked by AI about once a minute.

  • Made with ministry in mind.

    Every post has a Pray reaction, and ministry causes like children's ministries and church planting come first. Our moderation rules say that scripture, lament and testimony are not violations. The rules are about how people behave, and they leave theology alone.

    Find a mission to support.

    Browse missions from charities our team has verified, including care for widows and orphans, disaster relief and education.

    In the app

    • Browse by cause: Orphans, Widows, Church Planting, Children's Ministries, Disaster Relief, Education, Healthcare and more.
    • See who is live right now, and watch recent streams you missed.
    • Search for people, charities and causes by name.
    • Every charity is verified, and every campaign is reviewed by a person before it can take a gift.

  2. 02 · Give

    Give in a few taps.

    Before you pay, you see how much you are giving, what the fee is, and what the charity receives.

    In the app

    • One-time gifts by card, processed securely by Stripe. KSI never sees or stores your card number.
    • Pick an amount or enter your own, and see exactly what the charity receives.
    • KSI takes no platform fee. Stripe charges a card processing fee, and you can choose to cover it so the charity gets your full gift.
    • Give anonymously and your name stays off the stream and the donor lists.
    • Give during a live stream and add a message for the stream.
    • No account needed for gifts up to $500 - just an email for your receipt.

  3. 03 · Track

    Watch your seed take root.

    Your gift is added to the campaign's total. Follow the mission to see what it shares from the field.

    In the app

    • Campaign pages show how much has been raised toward the goal, and your gift is added to it.
    • When a campaign you gave to reaches 25, 50, 75 or 100 percent of its goal, you get a notification and a personal update in Your impact.
    • Watch missions live, chat with others who are watching, and catch the replay if you missed it.
    • Follow a missionary or charity and you'll be told when they go live.
    • See photos, videos, posts and stories shared by the people in the field.
    • Signed-in donors keep a history of every gift, each with its receipt.

  4. 04 · Share

    Pass the story on.

    Tell your friends and family about a mission. Sharing costs nothing, and it can reach people the mission would not reach on its own.

    • Share any campaign, live stream, post or profile in a tap, through your phone's share sheet or as a copied link.
    • Comment on updates and encourage the people doing the work.

  5. 05 · Pray

    Stay close in prayer.

    Follow a mission and its posts show you what to pray for. The praying is up to you.

    • Posts, stories and streams tell you what a mission is facing, in its own words.
    • Press and hold the heart on a post and choose Pray to let them know you're praying.

What you can do in the app.

Here is what the app does today, and what it doesn't do yet.

Live mission streams

Missionaries go live from the field.

Watch the work while it happens. Missionaries, field workers and charities go live from their phones, post updates and short clips, and share photo and video stories from the field. Follow them, and what they share shows up in your feed.

In the app today

  • Live streams with chat. They are recorded by default, so you can watch the replay after the broadcast ends.
  • Stories: a photo or a short video that disappears after 24 hours.
  • Posts, and short vertical clips with their own Clips feed.
  • Follow a mission and you're notified the moment it goes live.
  • Give without leaving the stream. Your gift and your message appear on screen for everyone watching, or as "Anonymous" if you choose.
  • The broadcaster controls the chat. It can be open to all, followers only, slow mode or locked, and anyone can be muted or banned.
  • An organization can't go on air until a person at KSI has verified it.

Giving tools

See the fee before you pay.

Give in a few taps: on a campaign page, from a post, or in the middle of a live stream. Before you pay, you see the processing fee, whether you're covering it, and what the charity will receive. KSI adds no platform fee of its own.

In the app today

  • One-time gifts by card, processed by Stripe. KSI never sees or stores your card number.
  • Cover the card processing fee (2.9% + 30 cents) so the charity receives your whole gift, or let it come out of the gift. It's your choice, and it's shown before you pay.
  • Give anonymously, so your name isn't shown with your gift.
  • Add an optional message of up to 200 characters.
  • No account needed for gifts up to $500.
  • With an account, you get an emailed receipt for every gift, your giving history under Activity > My giving, and badges as you give.

Not in the app yet Monthly or recurring gifts, reminders, cryptocurrency, PayPal and bank transfers.

Progress and payouts

An admin approves every payout.

Every campaign shows what it has raised against its goal and how many people have given. Before money reaches a charity's bank account, a person at KSI has verified the charity, reviewed the campaign and approved the payout.

In the app today

  • Campaign pages show the amount raised, the goal, a progress bar and the number of donors.
  • Milestones at 25, 50, 75 and 100 percent are worked out from the campaign's own total - no one picks when they fire.
  • Every charity is verified by a person before it can take a gift, and every campaign is reviewed before it goes live.
  • A charity requests a payout and an admin approves it before any money moves. Each step is logged.
  • Payout details are stored encrypted.
  • Verified charities get a dashboard showing:
    • what they raised in the last 30 days
    • their donors and average gift
    • donations over time
    • a donor list they can download as a spreadsheet
  • The fee breakdown is on screen before every gift, and KSI takes no platform fee.

Ethical storytelling

What people post is checked as it goes up.

We want the stories on KSI to show real people doing real work, and to treat everyone in them with respect, whether they're giving or receiving. The app helps by checking what people post.

In the app today

  • AI screens content as it goes up: posts, comments, stories, chat messages, gift messages, stream titles, campaign pages and profile bios. Clear violations are hidden at once, and borderline ones go to a person.
  • Video posts are held and screened before anyone else can see them.
  • Live streams are checked about once a minute while they're on air, and a moderator can end a broadcast.
  • Posts, comments, live streams and campaigns each have a report button, and you can block any account.
  • If someone shares that they are struggling, the filter never hides it. It's flagged for a person straight away and stays visible.

Built but not switched on yet Consent for faces. The app can ask whoever uploads a photo of an identifiable person to confirm they have that person's consent, and hold the photo for review. The face-detection service behind this isn't running yet, so today that check doesn't happen.

Notifications & impact updates

Hear back after you give.

When a campaign you gave to reaches 25, 50, 75 or 100 percent of its goal, you get a personal update showing your part in it. That way you know how the campaign is doing after you've given.

  • Milestone updates, collected on the Your impact screen, with your contribution beside each one. Needs an account.
  • A notification when a mission you follow goes live, plus an optional email.
  • A confirmation for every gift, and notices for new followers, likes and comments.
  • Push notifications on your phone if you turn them on. Went-live alerts, receipts and new-follower emails each have their own switch.

Disaster relief

A category for relief campaigns.

When disaster strikes, verified charities can open a campaign under Disaster Relief, and givers can find all of them in one place in Discover. Each one goes through the same review as any other campaign - a person checks it before it goes live.

In the app today

  • A Disaster Relief category for campaigns, which you can browse in Discover.
  • The same verification, review, progress tracking and payout approval as every other campaign.

Not built yet Crisis Mode. The earlier site described a fast track that launches relief campaigns within hours and coordinates them with NGOs and faith-based responders. It doesn't exist in the app today.

Why you can trust KSI

What we do to earn your trust.

Some of this you can see in the app, and some of it happens behind the scenes.

Verify

A person at KSI reviews every charity and every campaign. Verified charities carry a badge, and Stripe checks the charity's identity before any payout.

Secure

Payments go through Stripe, and payout details are stored encrypted. Payment messages from Stripe are checked with an HMAC signature. An admin approves each payout, and admin actions are logged.

Prove

Campaign pages show their progress, and each campaign is reviewed before it goes live. Missions go live and post updates, and you can watch the replays. Charities get a dashboard with a donor list they can download.

Moderate

People can be muted or banned from chat, and chat has rate limits, XSS protection and a safe set of emoji. AI checks live streams about once a minute, and an admin reviews what it flags.

Comply

You can download your data or delete your account yourself, and choose which emails you get. We use no ad trackers.

Protect

Content is scanned for child-safety risks, our content rules require respect for the people shown, and every post and stream can be reported.

01 Core platform Live

Charity streaming and campaign giving

This is the KSI app. It connects people who give with field workers and the charities they serve. Missions are verified, campaigns can have live streams, and you can follow what happens after you give.

In the app today

  • Every charity is verified by a person before it can raise money, and every campaign is reviewed by an admin before it goes live.
  • Anyone with an account can go live. A stream can raise money only for a campaign that belongs to an organization the broadcaster is part of.
  • Viewers chat during the broadcast. When it is raising for a campaign, they can give by card through Stripe without leaving it, and each gift shows up on screen as a live alert.
  • Replays can be watched after the broadcast ends.
  • Campaign pages show progress and mark 25, 50, 75 and 100 percent of the goal.
  • Achievements with points, and a top-donors board.
  • KSI takes no platform fee. Stripe's processing fee applies unless the donor chooses to cover it.
02 Dual org structure Proposed

A for-profit arm that would sell consulting and technology services, working alongside the nonprofit that does the humanitarian work. The arm's profits would go back into missions.

Proposed. KSI runs today as a nonprofit and takes no platform fee on gifts.

03 Consulting for missions Planned

KSI Consulting would help missions with CRM automation, livestream integration and donor analytics. The goal is for faith-based organizations to keep their work going for the long term.

04 Corporate CSR facilitation Planned

This would connect companies with causes and keep an open record of their volunteer hours, projects and reports. It would also offer certifications and dashboards that show the results.

05 Tech licensing and white-label Planned

Partners would license the technology behind KSI to run fundraising sites under their own brand, and the license fees would give the mission a regular income.

06 Training and analytics Partly live

Training in digital and data skills for charities and partners, covering how to manage donors, read the analytics and use the tools ethically. The aim is to help more charities use digital tools well.

In the app today

A verified charity's dashboard shows how much it raised in the last 30 days, a 30-day chart, and its donor count and average gift compared with the previous period. The charity can also export a donor report with totals and dates. The report has no email addresses, and anonymous gifts stay anonymous.

The analytics are live. The training program is planned.

07 Innovation lab R&D Planned

A lab for trying out new technology for ministry, such as AI moderation and AR and VR experiences for donors. The work would be done with startups and universities.

The lab is planned. One part of its agenda already runs in the app: AI moderation scans posts, chat and live streams (a live broadcast is checked about once a minute), and a person reviews anything it flags. The AR and VR work and the partnerships with startups and universities are planned.

08 KSI Institute Priority branchPlanned

Education and spiritual leadership

The Institute is where KSI plans to teach and train people. It will develop mission leaders, youth mentors and people of faith who build new things. Its programs will combine theology, humanitarian leadership and digital ministry, and will train ambassadors to carry KSI's mission further.

We want to raise up leaders who are grounded in faith and ready to use technology for the Kingdom, wherever they serve.

How we could work together.

KSI has proposed five joint-venture models to suit different partners, from a 50-50 co-build to a mission-locked venture that puts all its surplus back into the nonprofit mission. They are starting points, and the terms of each one are agreed partner by partner.

How it works

How it works
The partner invests up front and recovers its capital first. After that, profits are split evenly. KSI's risk stays low and it keeps its ownership.

How it works
Regional operators run KSI-branded hubs from standard playbooks. Local partners keep most of the revenue and pay royalties to the global mission.

How it works
The corporate partner funds operations and co-owns the venture. KSI brings access to the communities it serves and keeps the storytelling honest.

What is KSI's mission?

To make giving visible and accountable. KSI connects donors with verified charities and the missionaries doing the work, so after you give, you can keep following what happens.

How do I join?

KSI is in a private beta for now. Ask for an invite and we'll send you one by email. With an account you can give and follow missions. Missionaries and field workers can go live and post updates, and charities can apply for verification to run campaigns.

What does KSI offer?

Live streams and replays from the field, campaign pages that show progress and milestones, one-time card gifts through Stripe, stories and posts from the people doing the work, and a dashboard for verified charities to run campaigns and request payouts.

Who is KSI for?

Donors who want to see where their gift goes, missionaries and field workers who want their supporters to see their work, and charities and churches that want to raise support without a lot of reporting.

Is KSI secure and trustworthy?

Payments run through Stripe, so KSI never sees or stores your card number. A person reviews each charity and each campaign before it goes live, and an admin has to approve each payout.

Can I give anonymously, or in cryptocurrency?

You can give anonymously, so your name isn't shown with your gift. Gifts are made by card through Stripe; cryptocurrency isn't supported.

How does KSI show where my gift goes?

Campaign pages update as gifts arrive and mark each milestone at 25, 50, 75 and 100 percent of the goal, and missions share live streams, replays and posts from the field. Signed-in donors keep a history of every gift.

Can I take part without giving money?

Yes. You can follow missions, pray for them, comment on their updates and share their stories. Sharing a story can help a mission reach people it wouldn't reach on its own.

Is there an app for iPhone and Android?

Yes, and you can also use KSI in a web browser. While the app is in a private beta we send the links to people who ask, so ask for an invite and tell us which you'll use.
